Day20

Forgot to take pictures today, whoops! But the activity went really well. We did unit 2 lesson 2 in text compression. The direction of the conversations kept coming back to how it is hard to optimize a solution to the compression problem.

When I originally read the learning targets about heuristics and unsolvable problems in computer science, I had no idea how I was supposed to teach this topic. But it was smooth and easy with this activity because of how quickly they could try new strategies and share with their partners. Another point for code.org, this curriculum is my favorite thing right now!
